ASF is thrilled to announce our director for our production of MACBETH this coming October. Meet Terri McMahon!
Terri McMahon has directed, as well as adapted OSF School Visit Program touring performances; devised an OSF Green Show called “Give It Up for Elizabethan-ness”; directed OSF staged readings and has both acted and directed multiple times in OSF’s The Black Swan Lab for new play development. Other directing credits include: Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Oregon Repertory Theater, Kern Shakespeare Festival, OSF’s Daedalus Project AIDS Benefit and Southern Oregon University. She most recently directed “Sweetly Writ”, at the Hult Center in Eugene, OR, a collaboration between OSF and the University of Oregon to celebrate the University’s Shakespeare First Folio Exhibition. This coming summer she makes her Bay Area directing debut with AA Midsummer Night’s Dream for Shakespeare Santa Cruz As an actor Terri has played 75 roles in 49 productions during 20 seasons at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Her acting roles have ranged from Shakespeare, Moliere and Ibsen to roles in OSF’s American Revolutions Cycle of new plays: Ladybird Johnson (All the Way and The Great Society by Robert Schenkkan), Tracey (Sweat by Lynn Nottage). She received a BFA from University of Southern California.
